I couldn’t be happier with Wavy Tails Dog Day Care and Home Boarding! My dog has high energy and suffered with separation anxiety, so finding the right daycare and boarding facility was a challenge. Tayne is warm, professional, and clearly passionate about dogs. He shares regular videos and photos on his socials, which gives great peace of mind. Seeing Luna happy and relaxed at Wavy Tails has been amazing. If your dog needs a loving, structured environment, whether it’s just for the day or a longer stay then Wavy Tails is definitely the right place. It’s made a world of difference for both of us!

We highly recommend Tayne as a dog boarder, he looked after our dog when we went away in February. Tayne had several days and some night trials to make sure he was right for us (and vice -versa) We loved seeing all the fun our pup was having on Tayne’s Facebook reels, the dogs enjoyed walking and letting off steam in the local countryside. It was reassuring to see our pup looking relaxed and calm when settling down on an evening in Tayne’s home.

Me and my wife cannot recommend Wavy Tails enough , Bruno has been going for 6 months now and he has come on so far and is a more confident doggie and even a little better behaved . Tayne has been amazing from the first meet and greet to the sign up and beyond, invoicing is clear and timely making this not only a lovely place for Bruno but very professional which gives us peace of mind

Highly recommend, the best daycare around! Fantastic, friendly, and prompt communication for us humans and then the level of care and attention for the pups is above and beyond. Trusting someone to look after the new member of our family, 4 month old Pippa, felt nerve-wracking. Pippa is a sensitive soul and she was nervous at drop offs for the first couple of weeks but now she's pulling my arm off to get through the gate! I love seeing the pupdates and knowing that she's so happy and well cared for is just brilliant.

Our Labrador pup Elvis has joined the Wavy Tails gang recently and we couldn’t be more at ease! We knew straight away at the meet & greet that we’d love for Tayne to look after him for us. We completed the thorough booking form (which gave us a lot of reassurance) and he completed his trial. Elvis goes to Wavy Tails on an ad hoc basis but every time I drop him off he runs straight in wagging his tail like crazy. I know that he is treated so well and the pictures and videos of him whilst he’s there make my day! Thank you for looking after our precious pup

My cockerpoo Dougal has been going to Wavy Tails now for a few weeks and I can’t recommend them enough, after a thorough familiarisation with the other dogs we quickly agreed days for Dougal to go regularly and now he’s in a routine he can’t wait to get there in a morning, he’s always so excited, clearly has fun, is looked after well whilst he’s there and he comes home tired out! He’s currently fast asleep by my feet after a day at Wavy Tails! Can’t recommend them enough!

The same as most dog owners, I was very wary about leaving my dogs and worried about them a lot in the lead up to our holiday. Tayne put my mind at ease before their stay by asking a lot of information about their routines and quirks. When on holiday we had lots of updates and photos and it was clear to see the dogs were having a great time. They even went on their own holiday! Since then, Bella & Sherlock have stayed another 2 times and have always been happy to run into the house and start taking over 😂 Thank you Wavy Tails!

What a fantastic time Ripley had at Wavy Tails, met loads of new friends over the four days holiday. Lots of walks and adventures meant that she slept for most of the following two days. Tayne really went the extra to make sure that her stay was worry free for us, she is definitely looking forward to her stay later in the year

He looked after our Poppy for the day and could see from all the photo's and videos, she had a great time with him and his lovely dogs. Tayne came to my rescue when my other dog sitter had to unexpectedly cancel due to illness. Literally, with 4 days' notice, Tayne welcomed my Mooky man with open arms whilst my partner and I were on holiday. Mooky can be grumpy sometimes, but he had the best little holiday and didn't want to come home! He was so well looked after, loved and cared for. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wavy Tails and Mooky will definitely be having more doggy holidays there Thank you for everything! xxx

Holly is a full time day care resident at Wavy Tails. Tayne and the gang have made my Holly feel very welcome from the initial meet and greet. Holly can present as nervous initially but this was was short lived. She is always really excited and happy to go and play with her friends at Wavy Tails. Tayne is professional and has a real passion for dogs! Couldn’t thank him enough for everything that he does, and the daily updates really brighten my day! Knowing that your furbaby is well looked after and having a wonderful day makes it all worthwhile. Give them a go.. you won’t be disappointed!

Tayne came to our rescue when we were looking for a place for our two dogs whilst we were visiting for a family funeral. He was very flexible and did everything he could to accommodate us. He took the dogs on a lovely long walk and they were tired out by the time we picked them up, so we could have a restful evening. Thanks so much, if we need a dog sitter in Huddersfield again we will definitely be in touch!

Ziggy had a wonderful first day with Tayne and the other day care dogs at Wavy Tails. I knew that she would be fine after the first meet and greet and I was reassured by Tayne’s calm and caring way with Ziggy. Ruby spent 5 nights boarding with Tayne and Dan whilst we were away getting married. At the very first meet & greet, I knew Ruby would be at home with Tayne and his dogs Woody & Luna. She had 1 settling in daycare prior to her "holiday" & had a great time, even though sometimes she can get a little anxious. I didn't worry about her once whilst she was in Taynes care, I was updated regularly and could pop on instagram to see daily stories of their adventures I've got photos of Ruby running around with the other dogs in fields & parks, getting muddy, chasing balls, sleeping soundly snuggled upto Woody. Its pretty clear to see that she was living her best life! If you want to leave your dog with someone, to feel like they are at home away from home, Tayne at Wavy Tails is the one for you!Thank you so much!! Ruby is missing you guys and can't wait to come back soon

Tayne looked after our beagle, Tillie for 8 nights whilst we went on holiday. From the updates and pictures on Facebook we could tell Tillie was having the time of her life and it made our holiday much more enjoyable knowing that she was happy and being well looked after. We can’t thank Wavy Tails enough for the amazing care they gave our granddog, Buddy, while we were away for a wedding. From start to finish, the communication was excellent friendly, clear, and reassuring. They were so accommodating with our schedule, and it made the whole experience completely stress free. Most importantly, Buddy had a blast! It was clear from his behaviour when he came home that he was happy, well cared for, and treated like part of the family. As Buddy’s grandma, it means the world to know he was in such loving hands. He came home relaxed, tail-wagging, and maybe even a little spoiled (in the best way!). We’re so grateful to have found such a wonderful place for Buddy, and we wouldn't hesitate to book again. Tayne's had Luna since she was 5 months old as we struggled to leave her alone for work. He has a small select group of dogs which was really important to us, and it's clear he really cares about each and every one of them, even the barky demandy beagley ones! She has a good mix of exercise and rest, and always comes back happy and tired, a little home away from home. We also enjoy being able to see regular updates each day. We look forward to boarding her in the future, thank you Uncle Tayne 😁

Couldn't recommend Wavy Tails enough, we have just had our wedding and our dalmatian frankie stayed over for a couple of days and had the biggest grin on her face the whole time. Frankie is quite a nervous dog but has now come out of her shell after going to only a few day walks and the most recent boarding. If you are looking for a dog walker in the Huddersfield area make sure you get in touch and you won't regret it!

We cannot recommend Wavy Tails enough. We have been taking our boy here for a few months now on an ad-hoc basis for daycare, and due to the excellent service, have just completed his first boarding experience this past week and could not be happier.

Bruno finished his daycare trial today and I have one super happy doggo , he is exhausted and content !! The whole process from first contact to the meet and great and then filling in the forms has been amazing, professional and reassuring!! Previous to Wavy Tails we had gone through an app and ended up with someone I now know was not licensed and should never have been looking after my pup and all I can say is the difference is massive and I am So pleased we have found Wavy Tails and feel much comfier leaving my little pup with Tayne who clearly knows what he is doing and looks after all dogs with such care , I mean just look at the video’s each dog is living their best life , Bruno will be going every week as long as they will have him ☺️

There is genuinely so many good things to say about Wavy Tails I don’t even know where to start! Neo absolutely loves going there for daycare and has made lots of friends. He’s been in a much better mood and his behaviour has improved so much (no more biting!!). Honestly fantastic, Tayne really cares about the dogs he takes in, I can just how much he cares for Neo and he does so much for him. Could go on and on but bottom line is I’d absolutely recommend Wavy Tails for anyone looking for doggy daycare, just fantastic!

My two Sammies have spent the last two months day sitting with Tayne for two days a week. I was worried about leaving them as they have never been left like this before. However after the first day it was clear they absolutely loved it! Both clearly love their time with Tayne and his other guests and they sprint from the car whenever they know it’s time to go to WavyTails. They are shattered when coming home! Cannot thank Tayne enough for looking after my two.

Our boy Baxter just loves going to Wavy Tails for daycare and boarding. I have to say he is our precious boy and I was quite apprehensive about leaving him but I have not been worried at all. He is treated and loved and cared for as part of the family. He loves playing with the other dogs and always comes home tired after a busy day. If you are looking for doggy day care, I would absolutely recommend Wavy Tails!

My 10 month old cocker spaniel started at Wavy Tails 5 weeks ago and he absolutely loves it. He goes 2 days a week and had his first sleep over this week. He's always excited to go, jumps oug of the car and runs straight in with his tail wagging. Tayne truly treats the dogs like his own and they get a lovely walk everyday I would recommend Wavy Tails to anyone who wants to be confident their dog is being looked after in a caring environment

Willow loved her mini break this weekend - Tayne really looked after her. It was a very hot weekend weather wise but we knew that Willow would be cared for with lots of playing. She came home tired and relaxed which was great - the whole process of booking and meeting Tayne and his dogs was very professional and we were very happy with everything.

Our puppy Mylo recently stayed with Wavy tails for a day and overnight stay after they were recommended to us; I’m so glad we have found them! Tayne and his partner are friendly and took such good care of Mylo, we instantly felt comfortable upon meeting them and him staying there. Mylo looked to have loved his walks and they took on board Mylo’s needs and requirements and treated him like one of their own. When we picked Mylo up, he looked so settled there which was so nice to see and you can see Tayne is a natural with dogs! Highly recommend, one of the best! I’m sure Mylo will look forward to his stay again with you both. Thanks again :)

Tayne at Wavy Tails has looked after my (awesome) 11 month old pup called 'Fozzie', for both day care and overnight boarding. A dogs tail doesn't lie...and Fozzie absolutely loves his time there, and it's comforting to know that he is being looked after well. When I get him home he is tired out! The cost is very reasonable too.

Our 5 month old golden retriever Bilton has been going to Wavy Tails for nearly a month now, and when I say he loves it that is probably an understatement. We are the classic overprotective mummies that want the best for our boy and I can honestly say we have landed an absolute diamond in Wavy Tails. Bilton is treated like a king whilst he is there, we get regular updates throughout the day and I know that he is really well cared for and has so much fun! I was really anxious about going back to work in the office and not being around Bilton all day but knowing that Bill is having the best time makes everything so much easier. When Bilton arrives home after his day with Tayne you can see the bond they are building and just how much he loves him already. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Tayne, I cannot recommend Wavy Tails enough. Just look at that smiley face!

On meeting Tayne and his partner at the meet and greet, I was very relieved to see how my dog was made welcome, not to mention the security of their garden. I could not recommend him highly enough. It’s a very happy, relaxed home. Also, extremely professional. Also kept me personally up to date with photos.

I only found Wavy Tails by chance but so glad I did, our girl Stevie loves going on walks with Tayne and his crew of pups. He seems to genuinely love animals and was so welcoming to Stevie when they first met. He is great with communication and is quick to respond. I also love the photos he collects on their walks!

So happy we found Wavy Tails doggy day care. It has been the best thing ever for our 2 year old springer spaniel dog Milo. Milo can be nervous with new people and in new surroundings so I wasn’t sure whether it would work out. With Tayne’s patience and genuine love of dogs he has settled in no time. We love seeing the photos Tayne takes of Milo’s day- it always looks he has so much fun!!

We found the introduction meeting in our home very comforting as we were then confident that we were leaving Oakley in safe hands. Our dog’s favourite place Our dog stayed with wavy tails for two nights and he had the best time. It was so nice being away and not worrying about our little pal, we also got to see lots of photos of him having fun on social media. He’s also had a couple of days with wavy tails for day care and Tayne has been great. Would recommend to anyone!

Wavy Tails Doggy Daycare. Hugo was rehomed to us and due to being neglected was extremely clingy, anxious and fretful. After only 1 meet and greet where Tayne welcomed Hugo with so much warmth, spent time with him alone before introducing his other dogs, Hugo had the best play time ever. When I dropped Hugo off for this first Daycare session he didn't even look back at me....off he went straight to Tayne with his tail wagging away. Hugo has become so more relaxed and behaving much better around other dogs. When we left Hugo overnight we didn't even worry one bit and was able to enjoy our night away 100%. Our Rusty has recently started going on walks with Wavy Tails, specifically with Siobhan, and they’ve been great! Siobhan and Tayne are highly professional and knowledgeable about caring for dogs. They have been great at accommodating Rusty, who is a rescue and can be nervous when experiencing new situations, taking the time to understand him. Would recommend. 🙂
